Scale Of Pay : Rs.25,500-81,100/
CISF Head Constable Physical Standards
1. Male candidates :
- Height (For UR, SC, EWS and OBC candidates) – 167 Cms
- Chest (For UR, SC, EWS and OBC candidates) – 81-86 Cms (Minimum expansion of 5 Cms.)
2. Female candidates :
- Height (For UR, SC, EWS and OBC candidates) – 153 Cms.
- Chest - There shall no minimum requirement of chest measurement for female candidates.
CISF Head Constable Eye Sight Standards
- Visual Acuity unaided (Near vision) - Better eye-N6 ; Worse eye-N9.
- Uncorrected visual acuity (Distant vision) – Better eye-6/6 ; Worse eye-6/9
- Refraction – Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses.
- Color vision – CP-III BY ISIHARA
- In right handed person, the Right eye is better eye and vice versa.
- Binocular vision is required.
CISF Head Constable Selection Process
The recruitment shall have following two stages:
- 1 st stage :
- a) Trial Test
- b) Proficiency Test
- c) Physical Standard Test (PST) &
- d) Documentation
- 2 nd stage : Medical Examination
Verification of required eligibility certificates / documents including Sports
Certificate with the originals will be carried out at the time of Documentation.
