Criteria for Selection
1. Candidates must register online by clicking "Click for New Registration" on the following link: https://dsssbonline.nic.in/
2. Candidates must use the DSSSB OARS portal to complete the Online Registration Form. It takes thirty minutes to complete the online registration form during a session.
3. The candidate must have his or her photo identity proof (PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driver's License, or Passport) ready before beginning the online registration process. The photo must be properly scanned in the jpg or jpeg format, with each file no smaller than 15 KB and no larger than 60 KB. Candidates should refrain from uploading hazy identification photos. If an Aadhaar number is submitted as identification, no scanned copy of identification needs to be uploaded.
4. Candidates can complete their online registration at any time, day or night, via the DSSSB website.
5. Applicants must make sure that, when completing their online registration forms, they enter a valid email address. This is because the DSSSB may communicate with candidates electronically at various points during the examination process. We won't accept the email address that is already registered with the OARS portal.
6. The candidate must also supply one current, working cellphone number so that the Board may text them with any information pertaining to the exam. We won't accept the mobile number that is already linked to the OARS portal.
7. It is advised that applicants use the One Time Password (OTP) they receive on their registered email address and mobile number to confirm both.
8. If the applicant does not receive the OTP on their email address or mobile number, they can still register using the one OTP they do receive.
9. It is recommended that applicants periodically check their emails.
10. Use only the roll number's numeric characters if the Class X roll number is alphabetical. Use 120204, for instance, if your Roll No. is 12CSC0204.
11. As the class X roll number will be saved in the OARS system, please refrain from entering or prefixing zero in the roll number. For example, if the roll number is 00123456012, the system will automatically truncate all leading zeros and the actual roll is 12345012 only.
12. Should the applicant be shortlisted, the e-dossier will be submitted after a cross-check of the ID proof they submitted. Additionally, the ID that the applicant provides will be included on the admit card.
13. Instructions for scanning and uploading photo identification documents online: The candidate must provide a scanned (digital) copy of their photo identification document that complies with the requirements.
14.It is recommended that applicants review the registration form preview to make sure all of the information they have entered is accurate. Once the candidate is satisfied with the preview, they can proceed to submit the registration form. Once submitted, the registration details are final and cannot be changed later on.
