Exam Pattern
The Examination Consists Following Pattern and syllabus.
Stage I Computer Based Test(CBT 1) : Objective
1. Paper I : Math's, Mental Ability, General Science and General Awareness ;
Total Questions & Marks : 75 & 75 And 60 Minutes Duration
Stage II Computer Based Test(CBT 2) : Objective
1. Part A : Math's, Mental Ability, Basic Science and Engineering, General Intelligence and Reasoning ;
Total Questions & Marks : 100 And 90 Minutes Duration
2. Part B : Subject/Trade Related Question ;
Total Questions & Marks : 75 And 60 Minutes Duration
All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer based examination will be conducted in English only.
There will be 1/3rd marking for each wrong answer.

How To Apply
- Candidates will be required to Create an Account during the online application process. It is recommended that candidates carefully fill out the information needed to create an account, as once the account is created, changes of any kind cannot be made.
- Complete the "Create an Account" form online by entering the necessary information and setting a PASSWORD. Capital letters, small letters, special characters, and numbers should all be included in the password.
- After creating an account, information entered in the form (such as a mobile number and email address) cannot be changed.
- Candidates can log in directly with their registered email address or mobile number and password on subsequent login attempts. The candidates will receive confirmation via SMS and email.
- To finish the application, candidates must log in with their pre-created password and registered email address or mobile number.
- Candidates need to choose the RRB they want to apply to, as well as the post and zones that fall under that RRB. The necessary personal information that you entered in step 1 (Create an Account) above will be pre-populated in the application and cannot be changed. The remaining personal information needs to be input.
- Candidates must fill out the "ONLINE Application Form" with additional information, including details about their necessary educational background.
- Applicants must submit scanned copies of their ID, signature, and, if relevant, their SC/ST certificate in accordance with the guidelines below:
- Candidate's photo scanned image: A recent, color, passport-size photo that is clear.
- JPEG scan of the candidate's signature in cursive (between 30 and 70 KB in size).
- Only candidates requesting a free train pass may submit a SC/ST certificate in PDF format (up to 500 KB).
- In order to participate in Part B of CBT-2, candidates must choose a trade, exercise their post-preference order, and finish the declaration. Following this, an application preview will be accessible.
- In order to make any changes to the application, candidates must carefully review the preview and utilize the "Edit" option.
- Candidates may still "submit" the application if not. It is the responsibility of the candidates to verify the accuracy of the data they enter into their online application forms before submitting it.
- Following the completion of steps I and II, the candidate must pay the required examination fee.
- The online application form's confirmation page won't appear until the candidate has successfully made their payment.
- In all subsequent correspondence, please reference the registration number that appears on the computer-generated Confirmation Page.
- Candidates are therefore advised to make sure they write down the registration number that is printed on the confirmation page.
- Candidates will receive a confirmation email and SMS following the application's successful acceptance.
