Exam Pattern

The selection process will consist of on-line test like as Preliminary exam & Main exam. (Please refer the notification for post codes)

 1. For the Post Code 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10,11,12,13,14,15 & 16:

• Professional knowledge relevant to the post: Online Preliminary Exam consisting of 100 marks of objective type questions will be conducted online AND Duration of Examination will be of 120 minutes.
• There will penalty for each wrong answer. Wrong attempted question will deducted 1/4th of mark of scored marks.

 2. For the Post Code 17,18,19,20 & 21:

1. Name of Exam :  Quantitative Aptitude ; Max. Marks :  25; 

2. Name of Exam :  Reasoning ; Max. Marks :  50; 

3. Name of Exam :  Professional knowledge relevant to the post ; Max. Marks :  100; 

4. Name of Exam :  English Language ; Max. Marks :  25; 

Total Time Duration:  150 Minutes, Total Questions:  200

• There will penalty for each wrong answer. Wrong attempted question will deducted 1/4th of mark of scored marks.

3. Group Discussion (GD):

• There is a 50 mark maximum for group discussions, a 25 minimum qualifying mark for general/EWS, and a 22.5 minimum mark for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC). 

• To be considered for a personal interview, candidates must have received the minimum qualifying marks in the group interview, if one is held.

• A candidate has no claim to a personal interview if they only take part in the group discussion.

Selection Process

Final Selection:

i. If Online Examination and Personal Interview is conducted:

In the event that both an online exam and a personal interview are held, a merit list of the candidates categorized by SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and GEN will be created based on the total number of points they received in both the online exam and the personal interview, arranged in descending order. This merit list will be the basis for the final selection, up to the number of openings. 

ii. If Online Examination is not Conducted and only PI is conducted:

In the event that there is no online exam, a personal interview will be used to make the final decision. In such a scenario, a merit list for each of the relevant categories SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and GEN will be created based on the marks received in the personal interview, arranged in descending order. This merit list will be the basis for the final selection, up to the number of openings. 

iii. If Online Examination is not Conducted and Both GD & Personal Interview is conducted: 

In the event that there is no online exam and group discussions and personal interviews are used for final selection, a merit list for each category SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and GEN will be created based on the total points earned in these sessions, arranged in descending order. This merit list will be the basis for the final selection, up to the number of openings.
