Educational Qualification
1. Name of Post : Assistant Commandant General Duty; No. of Posts : 50
Educational Qualification : Candidates Must passed Degree (Min 60% aggregate marks) with Maths and Physics (Min 55% marks in both subjects) from recognized board or university.
2. Name of Post : Assistant Commandant Technical; No. of Posts : 20
Educational Qualification : Candidates Must passed B.E/B.Tech (In Relevant Field With 60% Marks) from recognized board or university.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist as follows.
- I st stage : Written Examination (CBT)
- II nd stage : Preliminary Selection Board (PSB)
- III rd stage : Final Selection Board (FSB)
- IV th stage : Medical Examination
- V th stage : Naval Orientation Course (NOC) Training
- VI th stage : Final Result Declaration

Exam Pattern
The Examination Consists Following Pattern and syllabus.
For Stage I : Objective ; Time : 120 Minutes Duration
1. Subject I : English ; Total Questions : 25
2. Subject II : Reasoning & Numerical Ability ; Total Questions : 25
3. Subject III : General Science & Math's ; Total Questions : 25
4. Subject IV : General Knowledge ; Total Questions : 25
- There are one hundred multiple-choice questions (MCQ) in the test, and each correct answer earns four marks, while every incorrect answer earns one mark deduction.
- The Exam Duration will be two hours, and the language of instruction on the paper will be English.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Stage-II (PSB), which will take place at centers in Noida, Mumbai/Goa, Chennai, and Kolkata for a full day, based on their performance in Stage-I.
- Applications will be evaluated using the Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT) and the Computerized Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT). This objective-type CCBT will only be available in English.
For Stage III : Final Selection Board (FSB)
- After stage II is finished at their respective centers, the candidates who qualify for stage III will be notified. The candidate will be informed of the Stage-III schedule via their personal login IDs.
- The Coast Guard Selection Board (CGSB), which meets for five days at Noida.
- The candidates must complete a group task, an interview (personality test), and a psychological test. The Final Selection is scheduled to take place in July through October of 2024.
For Stage IV : Medical Examination
- After passing Stage-III, candidates must go through a special medical examination at Base Hospital in New Delhi.
For Stage V : Induction
- Candidates will be provisionally selected for training and instructed to report to INA Ezhimala for the Naval Orientation Course (NOC) if they pass Stage IV and appear on the All India Merit List in accordance with the number of vacancies available.
- The combined scores from Stages I and III will determine the All India Merit List.
- Upon reporting for training at INA Ezhimala, candidates will first go through biometric and photo verification.
For Stage V : Final Result
- Candidates can access the results of every stage of the selection process, from Stage I to Stage V, by logging into their account on the ICG website. Within thirty days, the results of the Stage-I online exam will be tentatively announced.

- Only "ONLINE" applications will be accepted from February 19, 2024, at 11:00 hours to March 6, 2024, at 17:30 hours.
- To register with an email address or mobile number, candidates must log in to https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in and follow the instructions.
- Up until December 31, 2024, candidates must guarantee the validity of their email address and mobile number.
- ICG would not be held accountable if a candidate misplaces his email address or mobile number.
- This would prevent him from accessing the candidate dashboard, downloading his E-admit card, or viewing his results. No request was made to obtain the registered email address.
- After that pay the fee by any online method, UPI payment, Internet Banking and Bhim UPI.
- After payment fill your application form properly and upload necessary documents.
- Finally check the details once and then submit your application.
- Now print the application form and download it and keep it safe for future use.
