Educational Qualification
1. Name of Post : Civil Services-IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS Etc.;No. of Posts : 1056
Educational Qualification : Candidate Must Be Graduate/Any Degree from Any Recognized Board/University(Please Refer Notification carefully).
2. Qualifications for Eligibility :
Candidates for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service must be Indian citizens.
For the remaining services, a candidate must be one of the following:
(a) an Indian citizen
(b) a subject of Nepal
(c) a subject of Bhutan
(d) a Tibetan refugee who entered India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling there permanently
(e) an Indian national who has immigrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka
(e) an East African country, such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania; Zambia, Malawi; Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
3. Quantity of tries:
1. All candidates who meet the eligibility requirements and show up for the exam will be given six (6) chances to take the CSE.
2. Candidates who fall under the SC/ST/OBC and PwBD categories and who are otherwise eligible, however, will be granted a relaxation in the maximum number of attempts.
3. These candidates may make the following number of attempts in accordance with relaxation:
- SC /ST : Unlimited
- OBC : 9 Times
- PwBD : 09 for GL/EWS/OBC, Unlimited for SC/ST
