Educational Qualification
1. Name of Post / Grade : Executive & Technical Branch
No. of Posts : 35
Educational Qualification : Candidates Must Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent Qualification from any Board with 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (in Class X or Class XII).
Who Can Apply : Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Mains) 2023 exam for B.E/ B. Tech and also Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Mains) All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2023.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist as follows.
- Based on the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) 2023, Naval Headquarters retains the right to set the deadline for shortlisting applications for the SSB. Every applicant must complete their application with their rank according to the Common Rank List (CRL).
- Starting in March 2024, SSB interviews for the selected candidates will take place in Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam.
- Merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in medical examination would be appointed subject to police verification and character verification & availability of vacancies in the entry.

Training Process
(a) In accordance with naval requirements, the chosen candidates will be enrolled as Cadets in the four-year B. Tech program in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering.
(b) Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will award a B. Tech degree upon course completion.
(c) Cadets will be distributed among the Executive and Technical Branch (Engineering & Electrical) in accordance with current policy.
(d) The Indian Navy will pay for all training expenses, including books and reading materials. Additionally, the cadets will receive uniforms and messing.

Procedure To Apply
- Applicants must register and upload their applications via the www.joinindiannavy.gov.in website only.
- Candidates can pre-fill their application information and upload supporting documents under their user profile to expedite the application submission window.
- Complete the personal information form accurately, following the instructions on the matriculation certificate or the certificate of completion of the 12th grade.
- Certain fields must be filled out like the email address and mobile number fields.
- Any application that contains scanned documents that are not readable or legible will be rejected.
- After the application is submitted, it is final, and requests for changes or amendments won't be considered.
- Before completing and submitting your online application, please carefully read the instructions provided on the website.
- If at any point during the selection process a declaration is found to be incorrect, your candidature will be cancelled.
- Training is only available to single applicants. If a candidate is discovered to be married or to have married while undergoing training, they will be released from their position and must reimburse the government for all training expenses including salary and benefits.
