SSC Constable GD Age Limit (as on 01-01-2024)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age : 23 Years
• Candidates must have been born between 02-01-2001 and 01-01-2006
• Age Relaxation limit for various categories:
• OBC  - Age relaxation of 03 years. 
• SC - Age relaxation of 05 years. 
• ST - Age relaxation of 05 years.

• The candidate must have passed Matric/10th class examination with minimum 50% marks from recognized Board.

Scale Of Pay :  

• Basic Pay Level-3 is Rs. 21,700/- to Rs. 69,100/-

SSC Constable GD Selection Process

The selection process will consist as follows.

• I st stage : Computer Based Examination(CBT)
• II nd stage : Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST)
• III rd stage : Certificate/Document Verification
• IV th stage : Medical Examination

 

SSC Constable GD Exam Pattern

The Examination Consists Part A, B, C and D.

For Part A:

1. Name of Exam :  General Intelligence and Reasoning

No. of Questions :  20; Max. Marks :  40;

For Part B:

1. Name of Exam :  General Knowledge and General Awareness

No. of Questions :  20; Max. Marks :  40; 

For Part C:

1. Name of Exam :  Elementary Mathematics

No. of Questions :  20; Max. Marks :  40; 

For Part D:

1. Name of Exam :  English/ Hindi 

No. of Questions :  20; Max. Marks :  40; 

Total Time Duration:  60 Minutes, Total Questions:  80 Minutes

All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.

There will be negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer

Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates must complete Running Race follow as below.

1. Candidates not belongs to Ladakh Region Complete the running race as given below time.

Male     :  5 Kms in 24 minutes.

Female :  1.6 Kms in 8 ½ minutes

2. Candidates belongs to Ladakh Region Complete the running race as given below time.

Male   : 1.6 Kms in 7 minutes

Female : 800 metres in 5 minutes

Physical Standard Test (PST): Physical Standards for the posts are as follows:

1. Height

• Male: 170 cms
• Female: 157 cms

2. Chest: Male candidates should have following standards of chest measurement:

• Un-expanded: 80 cms
• Minimum expansion: 5 cms
• Chest measurement for female candidates will not be taken

3. Weight: As Per Medical standards Measured the height and age .

1. Before proceeding with One-time Registration,  the following documents required.

• Mobile No
• E-mail-Id
• Aadhaar Number/PAN card/Voter card/Passport/Driving License
• Details of 10th class Roll No, Passing Year

2. click on Register Now link provided in Login of SSC Website.

3. Fill your details educational qualification, basic details and deceleration.

Part-II (Online Application Form):

1. Login to Official website through your Registration-Number and Password proceed further steps according SSC Guidelines.
